News Bulletin Schedule

Radio Essex broadcasts local news and sport at the following times: weekdays hourly from 6:00am to 7:00pm and on the half hour during weekday breakfast at 6:30am, 7:30am and 8:30am. Weekends hourly from 8:00am to 11:00am inclusive.

Local news is produced in-house and comprises a mix of local items and the main national/international stories at the time. National news bulletins are broadcast on the hour at other times, and often on public holidays.

Automated / Networked Programming

Sometimes what you hear on Radio Essex is automated. Generally, weekday programming is live, but there are times when some shows may be recorded.

How To Complain

Any complaints made are logged immediately with an acknowledgement receipt issued to the complainant within 24 hours. The details are then passed on to the relevant department. We will aim to resolve any complaint within 10 working days. If under any circumstances a solution to the complaint can not be agreed, a further complaint can be made with Ofcom. For advertising complaints, if we can not find a solution, the complaint can be taken up with ASA.
